EFFECT:

Magician shows two sticks in his hand.  When he pulls one of the ropes on the stick, the other rope goes up and when he pulls down on the other rope the opposite one goes up and everyone thinks that the rope is just joined through the sticks as it is pulled.

The magician then PUTS BOTH STICKS APART AND THERE IS NO ROPE JOINING THEM.
